I have been in the mortgage industry for almost five years. I spent almost three of those with a mortgage broker in Edmond. I worked for them both as a loan officer and then as their senior processor. This has given me a unique perspective and understanding of the mortgage business. This gives me a greater ability to look at the borrower’s file and determine whether or not we might have an issue that will present itself. After leaving the broker, I then spent time with another major retail lender where I gained some valuable training and experience working directly for a lender rather than a broker.
